HAPPY BOXING DAY!!!
Ohmygosh. Christmas came and went so quickly. And before we even know it, it will be new year's eve and then 2010.
WHOA.
Anyway this Christmas was probably the same as all the other Christmases before (every single relative has to ask me about my academic life), except that my family didn't attend the party with my maternal relatives, and this time I even got hongbaos!! I guess my relatives are clueless to what I really want. But in fact, they totally hit the spot - I need cash. Going broke now cos my allowance for December will be my last, till I (hopefully) start school again. Gosh I need a job. Oh and I got a reply from the recruitment agency. I may be getting a job in a hospital/clinic either as an admin assistant or just to assist then doctors and nurses. Sounds cool, huh?
When will it be my turn to go overseas..? Yesterday's visit made me slightly miserable cos everyone had a story to tell: Bali, Taiwan, Korea etc, etc. And when my uncle asked me whether my family went on any trip, I quite wanted to shoot him a killer stare but decided to be polite instead. And then with all my cousins above the height of 1.7m, I get the same shitty thing every year. It's totally not my fault that my mum's genes were expressed more strongly than my dad's. Like I had a choice! -.-
Oh. My older cousin now has a Korean girlfriend. She's really sweet and everything, but why does she have to be above 1.7m too?
